Information we collect

We collect information you choose to submit, including contact form details, program request details, uploaded supporting documents, donation details, and email addresses used for confirmations and receipts.

Donation checkout is handled through Swirepay. We store donation records, Swirepay references, receipt details, and related status information, but we do not store full payment card numbers on this website.

We also collect limited first-party website analytics: page path, normalized referrer, and timestamp. This first-party analytics implementation does not use cookies or visitor IDs, and does not store raw IP addresses in the analytics table. Request IP addresses may be used transiently for rate limiting, abuse prevention, and security logs.

Where enabled, we also use Google services such as Google Ads, managed through Google Tag Manager, to measure advertising performance. These Google services may set cookies or similar identifiers and process usage data under Google’s own policies.

How we use information

We use submitted information to respond to inquiries, evaluate program requests, review and secure attachments, process donations, issue tax receipts, administer nonprofit operations, protect against spam and abuse, and meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations.

Service providers

We use trusted vendors to run the site and its workflows, including Vercel, Neon Postgres, Clerk, Resend, UploadThing, Cloudmersive, Upstash Redis, and Swirepay. These providers process information only as needed to provide hosting, database, authentication, email, upload, malware scanning, rate limiting, analytics, payment, and receipt services.

Some public pages include YouTube videos or links to third-party sites. Those services may process information under their own policies when you interact with them.

How we share information

We do not sell or rent personal information. We may share information with service providers that help operate the website, with professional advisors supporting nonprofit operations, or when required to comply with law, protect rights, prevent abuse, or complete a requested transaction.

Retention

We keep program requests, donation records, receipts, and related operational records for as long as needed to run programs, manage donor records, resolve inquiries, satisfy tax and accounting obligations, and maintain site security. Uploaded attachments that are not connected to a submitted request may be removed by scheduled cleanup.

Your choices

You can ask us to review, correct, or delete information you submitted by emailing us at info@rebelsforachange.org. Some records, such as donation receipts and accounting records, may need to be retained for legal or operational reasons.
